Data-use notice
Your details, plainly.
What we collect
What you enter, plus two things recorded automatically by our server: the time you submitted and the time you gave each consent, and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) used only to limit spam and repeated submissions. Athletes: sport, level and experience, city-level location, an adult age band, optional gender and status, optional height, weight and performance numbers, optional links, readiness and availability preferences, motivations, name, email and an optional phone. Fans: optional preferences and ratings, optional city, email, optional first name and an 18+ confirmation. Partners: goals, interests, a budget band, optional in-kind details, business details, name, work email, and phone and time zone only if you ask for a call. Investors: name, email, investor type, optional organization and note, and phone and time zone only if you ask for a call.
What we never ask for
No date of birth, street address, medical history, injuries, government ID, race or ethnicity, financial account details, net worth or accreditation documents. Optional questions can always be skipped.
Separate consents
Each purpose has its own checkbox: being contacted about your inquiry or athlete interest, receiving fan build updates, and — only if you request one — a phone call. Call permission is a one-off for that request, not marketing. We record the wording you agreed to, its version and the time.
How we use it
To contact you about what you asked for: athlete interest and future tryout announcements, build updates, partnership or investor conversations, or a call you requested. Aggregated answers help plan formats, locations and content. Nothing is used for automated selection.
Measuring the site
We count anonymous journey steps (started, step viewed, step completed, which field needed correcting, submitted) using a random per-tab ID that is cleared when you close the tab. These counts never include your answers, name, email or phone. If you arrive from a campaign link, we keep only the campaign tags and the referring website's address. No third-party trackers are used.
What we don't do
We don't sell your details or add you to third-party marketing platforms. No email, SMS or call is sent automatically today. Submitting does not reserve a tryout place, guarantee selection, create a sponsorship, or make any investment commitment.
Where it is stored
In NCBL's private database, not publicly readable. If email or messaging providers are connected later to notify the NCBL team, this notice will be updated before that happens.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or be removed from any list, at any time. Contact details for data requests will be published here before launch.
